This page explains what personal information SalesFit collects when you use the app, why we collect it, and how it's kept safe. SalesFit is a sales-training app run by Jose Gill ("we," "us"). If anything here is unclear, email jose.gill@icloud.com and we'll explain it in plain terms.
Information we collect
When you create a SalesFit account, we collect your email address, mobile number, and a password (which we never see in plain text — it's handled securely by our authentication provider, Firebase). As you use the app, we keep track of which mission you're currently on, which missions you've completed, and which ones you've unlocked. When you make a payment to unlock a mission, we record the payment ID, the amount, the payment gateway used, and the date — but never your card number, UPI ID, bank details, or any other payment credential.
How we use this information
- To create and secure your account, and let you log back in.
- To keep track of your progress and unlock missions you've genuinely paid for, in the correct order.
- To verify a payment really happened before granting access to paid content.
- To respond if you contact us with a question, a payment issue, or feedback.
- To send essential account-related emails, such as a password reset link you request.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How payments are handled
All payments are processed directly by Razorpay (for buyers in India) or PayPal (for buyers elsewhere, where available) — established, independently regulated payment processors. When you pay, your card, UPI, netbanking, or bank details go directly to them, never to SalesFit. All we receive back is a confirmation that a specific payment happened, which we independently verify with the payment processor before unlocking anything. You can review Razorpay's and PayPal's own privacy practices on their respective websites.
Where your information is stored
Your account and progress data is stored using Firebase (Google's application platform), specifically Firebase Authentication and Firestore Database — widely used, industry-standard cloud infrastructure with strong security practices built in.
Who we share information with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. It's shared only where genuinely necessary to run SalesFit: with Razorpay or PayPal, solely to verify a specific payment; and with Google/Firebase, as the infrastructure that stores your account and progress data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law.
How long we keep your information
We keep your account and progress information for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and associated data deleted, email us at jose.gill@icloud.com and we'll take care of it, subject to any records we're required to retain for legal or payment-related reasons.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to see what information we hold about you, correct anything that's inaccurate (like your mobile number), or request that your account be deleted. Just email jose.gill@icloud.com — we'll aim to respond within a few business days.
Cookies and local storage
SalesFit uses your browser's local storage to keep you logged in and to remember small preferences like your chosen language. We don't use third-party advertising trackers or sell browsing data.
Children's privacy
SalesFit is designed for working professionals and is not intended for use by children under 18.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use SalesFit after a change means you accept the updated policy.
